This is the place to go for nostalgic drive-in moments. They are damn good at what they do and they have the community to prove it. I go at least 6 times a season if not more.

Come for the movies, stay for the snack bar, come back for the amazing vibes.

Bring bug spray, sunblock, a battery powered radio and show up early for a good spot!

The Mahoning is a literal treasure for movie fans, I am so thankful for their dedication and the excitement they bring to the movie going experience. I travel more than 2 hrs to visit and would go farther if I had to. ?

What a wonderful place! 70+ years in business and I really hope they go another 70 years. Good vibes, good people, good staff, good food and popcorn. Best popcorn actually. The staff is extremely friendly. Please never change.

Places like this are why drive-ins need to make a comeback. We went for Tromathon 2024 and everything was specatcular! Getting in was quick and easy. Plenty of spots to park your vehicle and setup your seating area. Friendly staff from gates to lot to concessions. And the surrounding area is a gorgeous mountain view while you wait for the movie to start.

Don't forget a radio with batteries (for audio), especially if you see a double- or triple-feature. I saw a few people need jumpstarts.

My first Drive-in movie experience. Staff was polite and welcoming, Concessions were great, the movie was great (Hard Day's Night from 1964), My 1 year anniversary is next month, and my wife and I will certainly be coming back. Thank you, Mahoning Drive-in, for such an amazing experience!

Love a place that cares about movies as much as we do. TROMA THON was our first experience this weekend. We loved it so much, my husband wants to move to be closer to here! We are already planning our next trip back. Vibes, views, parking, food…. A++++!

The Mahoning drive in has been on my wanting to go to destinations for several years and I finally made the five and a half hour drive to go there this weekend....and it was well worth the trip, even more so than I expected.
First thing to say is I went to the Saturday night showing of their weekend of terror event. All three of the original Evil Dead movies and it was a sold out show. With that it never felt like you were in an overcrowded or event that you didn't get the full extent of the crews customer service. At an at capacity event the entire staffed worked smoothly and it was extremely comfortable to be there. From the admittance at the gates, to the service at the concession stand to the vendors outside...everything went smoothly and I never felt rushed or like I was just standing around waiting. That is a testament to how good the staff is at their customer service.
So onto the show itself...there is just something so much better about seeing a film in 35mm. It feels like how a movie should feel. Plus the screen is HUGE. I walked all around the place and I would say there isn't a bad view in the place.
I highly recommend the Mahoning drive in theater. It was possibly one of the best movie going experiences of my life.
