Cadre de rêve pour apprendre le français, face à la mer, professeurs et directeur à l'écoute des besoins de chacun et offrant un vrai suivi, très compétents, gentils, progrès remarquables en peu de temps (mon copain a suivi un programme de 1 mois et est revenu en parlant couramment le français !) Repas cuisiné par un chef dédié chaque midi, excursions organisées de temps en temps pour découvrir la région. Élèves internationaux, expérience très enrichissante ! Je ne peux que recommander cette école !

An incredible school! I spent one month at L'Institut from November to December 2024, and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my entire year. The teachers are extremely charismatic, talented, and encouraging, and they put their all into the job. The views from L'Institut are spectacular, and the food is superb. The chef even prepared a delicious side-serving of frog legs on our last day, specifically because he found out that I loved them. Before attending L'Institut I hadn't studied French formally for 24 years, and by the end of the month I felt surprisingly at ease having intermediate-level conversations. I still have so much work to do before achieving fluency, but I feel like my time at this school was a crucial step towards that goal. I also loved meeting all my fellow classmates, many of whom were diplomats, governmental officials, academic researchers, and businessmen. As an artist, curator, and designer, I rarely have the opportunity to meet people in these professions, and I am grateful for all the unique connections I made. Highly recommended!

The institute is an incredible experience and if you have the opportunity to study here you will spend your time in bliss. It’s an investment worth every penny. I went for one month in May and enjoyed beautiful weather in this gorgeous villa that houses an extraordinary garden full of flowers and a view of the sea. The food is just above and beyond - each day gorgeous plates for a three course lunch. You eat with other students and different teachers to have casual conversation in French to practice organically. I loved this aspect! The food service team is incredibly kind and thoughtful - always with a smile. Every teacher I met was interesting and completely committed to our language growth. But now onto the most important part - this is clearly the most immersive and impressive language school available, and to study French in the Cote d'Azur is spectacular. My teacher was Edith for Intermediate. She made every day an interesting and fun challenge keeping us completely engaged and enthralled with the language. She will demand your presence and her passion made us all improve! My class was dedicated to only speaking French, even during the coffee breaks in the garden between lessons. I met wonderful people and we had such a special group. Most important to me was the complete immersion aspect as well as it being an oral method. My French improved tremendously, especially my listening comprehension! This is a special experience I will cherish forever.

I can’t get enough of this fabulous school. From the amazing teachers and staff to the fabulous school grounds and tasty gourmet
meals served at the school.
I was nervous about going on my own but immediately felt so welcome. The teachers work us hard but with joy and attention to the smallest detail.
As a bonus, every student I got to know was fun and interesting. Young and old we all had fun together. We visited the beautiful surrounding towns, dined at great restaurants and laughed a lot.
Let me stress one more time the level of excellence at l’institut. You will leave happy ,speaking better French and with more ease.
Once you go you will return again and again.

I spent four weeks in the immersive French program at the Institut in January, 2025. I thoroughly and completely enjoyed the whole experience. Every aspect of the learning expérience was A+. The location and building are beautiful, the food was delicious and varied, the other students were friendly, interesting, and committed to the work. Most of all, the learning expérience was the best I've ever had. The méthod and quality of instructors uniquely combine to create success in knowledge and use of the French language. I felt fully supported and encouraged throughout my study and believe I'm at a next level of understanding and usage. Finally, I'm prepared with the follow-on guidance to move to another level of compétence. I can hardly recommend any more strongly the quality of this program.

My French learning experience at L’institut has been simply superbe! Their method is drawn from decades of experience, yet freshened by bright, energetic teachers with genuine, contemporary pedagogic skill. The program is intense and demanding, yet encouraging, smart and fun. I just returned for an additional course of several weeks, and enjoyed advanced and deepened results with engaging, committed and constructive fellow students. And what setting on La Côte d’Azur!

Literally one of the best experiences of my life. Hadn’t taken any French since school in the early 60s but always wanted to speak it better, therefore went for one month. Great teachers, intense but quite joyful and by the end although much still to learn I experienced a freedom with the language, the embarrassment of not knowing didn’t stop me at all from fully participating in the Institut and especially outside in daily life. My experience at the institute far exceeded my expectations. The teaching methodology is superb, and the professors put a significant amount of thought and care into helping their students. I made more progress in French than I ever have, and I’ve been learning the language for 19 years. The institute is also located in a beautiful hilltop villa overlooking the Mediterranean, rendering it the most picturesque education you will likely ever have. I also met wonderful, interesting people and had an exquisite three-course meal every day thanks to the talented kitchen staff. Major thanks to everyone at the institute who made this experience so remarkable!
